Jack, Letter to Food Bank

Dear John Mabry, Food Bank

Did you know that last year Scott raised $2,500 during the Make a Difference Fair, do you want some of that money? Scott Middle School 6A students are trying to make a difference. By agreeing to speak to the students of 6A you will help educate them about your organization, share what we can do to support your group, and answer any questions we might have.

By educating 6A students about your organization you help us understand what you do to help others. When we understand what the Foodbank does we can be inspired and make organizations or clubs to help, and maybe we could even ask people, that come to the Make a Difference Fair, to bring canned food, or maybe we can have a food drive. Maybe we could have a field trip to the foodbank to help.

By speaking to the 6A students they can teach other students and they can teach other students and eventually there will be A LOT of people who can support the foodbank and hunger all around Nebraska.

By speaking to the 6A students some questions might be... Could we volunteer at the foodbank, can we donate food to the foodbank, can we do anything else to help the Foodbank. These are questions I bet you guys could answer.

I know you’re gonna say that your schedule is too busy but if we can learn about your organization you are going to make a lot of money to help the foodbank and help the citizens of Lincoln.

Now you see why you need to come speak to 6A. Hopefully you can find space for us in your busy schedule. But please mark this on your calendar. And trust me if you come, I bet you, that you will earn a lot of money for the Foodbank. And let me close with this quote, “Society comprises two classes:  those who have more food than appetite, and those who have more appetite than food.” ~Sébastien-Roch Nicholas de Chamfort, Maximes.

Sincerely,
Jack
