Array of colors
Reminding me of summer
Baby blue
Nestled against a
Vivid, phosphorescent pink
A vibrant hue
sends a thrill through my insides
The light from behind seeping
through the tiny holes of the fabric

A cloudy background
Unfocused…
like taking
your glasses off
or when you are about to take a picture
and someone hits your hand

Smooth yet rough
Each color
different in texture
A checkered pattern hidden
within the baby blue ribbon
A brilliant green
like the field turf
on a football field

Swimming Pool?
Beach?
Baseball?
Golf?
A parade?

Ahh….LET SUMMER COMMENCE!
